Part-Time Professional No Longer an An Oxymoron
Given the current economic conditions, it's becoming harder for many people to find, change and even keep existing jobs. It can be especially difficult for moms who want to return to the working world but crave flexible hours allowing them to support and care for their families. This is where 10 til 2 comes in—a staffing firm dedicated to long-term, part-time placement , giving parents the ability to return to work while still keeping their familial commitments first. Though some employers may have doubts about hiring part-time workers, the positives can far outweigh the perceived negatives.
Women go to college to prepare for a career but are then forced to make a choice between that career they worked so hard to attain and having a family. When they return to the workforce after spending an extended amount of time at home with the kids, they are eager to regain and build upon their past successes. While some companies associate part-time with low-skill or low-pay, that couldn't be further from the truth with 10 til 2. Candidates are all college-educated individuals with skills in a variety of industries. They aren't just looking to make a quick buck before moving on to their next job; they're looking for a real career and will treat each assignment with the utmost care and professionalism.
10 til 2 is the nation's first staffing service of its kind that is solely dedicated to part-time placement. Since opening in September of 2007, it has been working with clients across countless industries such as accounting, insurance and communications—meaning there is a position for just about anyone. As more and more skilled individuals seek employment that allows them to succeed both in the office and at home, 10 til 2 will help them achieve that goal.
Betsy Knoke is the owner of 10 til 2 servicing clients and jobseekers throughout the Greater Indianapolis area. For more information, call 317-506-4921 or e-mail bknoke@tentiltwo.com.
