The State of Staffing

America's workforce is changing as more and more people are looking for flexibility that part-time work provides. In 2006, the staffing industry generated approximately $87 billion in sales; 2.9 million people per day are employed by staffing companies. Over the next decade, the U.S. staffing industry will be one of the nation's fastest growing industries. The staffing industry offers flexibility to both employees and businesses; people can chose when, where and how they want to work. Companies whose workforces are comprised of 10% or more flexible workers realize better financial growth.

  • 66% of staffing employees say flexible work time is important to them.
  • 90% of client businesses say staffing firms provide the flexibility to stay fully staffed during busy times.
  • 75% of business customers say the quality of employees recruited from staffing firms is the same as or better than the quality of their regular employees.
And Nobody Else is Doing it like

Staffing is Still Hot!

Staffing has been named to Entrepreneur Magazine's "Hot List" -again. This marks the 16th time in the past 20 years that staffing has been featured on the magazine's annual list of "most popular business trends."

"I read about 10 til 2 in AZ Parenting Magazine sitting in the waiting room of the Pediatrician’s office. I had recently left the corporate world to stay home with my children and was looking for something part-time where I could utilize my Accounting background. I knew that there were other men and women in my area that were struggling with the same issues. Additionally there is a large boomer population and I wanted to be able to help those that realized that retirement wasn’t exactly what they expected. My husband and I discussed the article and decided to call and see what the investment would be to open a franchise. I knew that this was something that the West Valley needed. I wasn’t so sure that I wanted a franchise, but after researching and talking with 10 til 2 I knew that this was the direction that I should be going. Everyone at 10 til 2 was so helpful in answering questions through the whole process of acquiring the franchise. The week of training in Denver was great. The training was hands-on and alive with applicable real-life experience from all of the founders. After training the support continued. It is so nice to know that help is just a phone call away."
