With provided leads of area businesses, the ideal candidate can successfully set appointments either by phone from home or in person at the office. Dynamic, experienced, networked small association management and meeting planning company seeks Administrative Assistant position. Located in Worthington, company currently provides full-service association management and meeting planning for professional membership associations, including chapters of the American College of Surgeons, the Florida Society of General Surgeons, and the Association for Patient Experience. The Administrative Assistant is a part-time position that works at the direction of the Assistant Executive Director. Some of the specific areas of current responsibility include: Governance: Assist with the coordination of board meetings; Edit meeting minutes; Maintain board rosters; Assist with the elections process; Assist with the coordination of committee functions; Assist with the updating of website board pages, position descriptions, correspondence, and preparation of board orientation packets. Membership Services: Answer member questions regarding dues payments and event registrations; Assist with the preparation of membership renewals; Assist with membership recruitment; Assist with the processing of membership renewals; Assist with processing event registrations; Maintain accurate membership files. Office Management: Answer phones and assist callers; Open and processing mail; Handle miscellaneous day-to-day office needs and other projects; Assist with meeting planning tasks such as nametags, supplies, and creating registration lists; Assist with management of trauma related courses. This position requires excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills. The individual must possess excellent computer, telephone, proofreading, and writing skills. The individual must be challenged by deadlines and strive to meet them. The individual must be driven, detailed-oriented, and desire and have appreciation for exceeding goals. This position requires solid Microsoft Office knowledge. This position includes being computer savvy, and having excellent typing/data-entry and spelling skills. This position is designed as a part-time opportunity with approximately 15-20 hours a week in the office. Normal work hours are from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm ET Monday through Friday.
