An engineering consulting firm, located near Golden, CO is seeking a Word Processor. This position will be responsible for operating word processing equipment to compile, type, revise, combine, edit, print and store documents such as correspondence, reports, forms, technical material and numerical data. This person will produce a variety of complex documents and will proof and check for completeness, accuracy and format. In addition, the Word Processor will advise other staff members on the capabilities and uses of PC for word processing, graphics, desktop publishing and related applications. Other duties will include answering telephones, directing inquiries and setting up or maintaining files. The perfect candidate will be able to work independently, have excellent attention to detail and have strong communication skills written and oral. Intermediate to advanced computer skills with PCs, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint a must. Other complex computer applications a plus.
